Marketing Your Services to Ticket-Holders
MAXIMUS is the beneficiary referral source for Employment Networks. We provide active Employment Networks with the information they need to effectively market their services to beneficiaries with Tickets. Employment Networks are contractually obligated to protect the privacy and confidentiality of beneficiary information received from MAXIMUS. Through the Employment Network RFP process organizations formally acknowledge the applicability of the Privacy Act to Federal Government contractors and Federal Government contract employees and agree to explain the Privacy Act requirements to their employees.
Referral lists are provided to active Employment Networks in CD-ROM format. MAXIMUS will contact Employment Networks to discuss whether they would like to receive the list. Then, referrals are sent on a monthly basis as soon as MAXIMUS is notified of the specific beneficiaries receiving Tickets for that month. This information is useful for you to reach beneficiaries.
Please note, the monthly referral files will be distributed only to active providers and/or those providers that specifically request to receive a monthly referral file. If you would like to request that a monthly beneficiary referral list be sent to your EN, please download the Referral List Response Form and submit the completed form to MAXIMUS per the directions included.
Privacy and Confidentiality Information
This is a reminder that as Employment Networks (ENs) your organizations have agreed to protect the privacy and confidentiality of beneficiary information entrusted to you by the Social Security Administration, as well as the beneficiaries with whom you work. Privacy Act requirements, along with the applicable Federal law, regulations, and procedures governing the Ticket to Work Program, are covered specifically in the Statement of Work (Sections 5 and 6) of both the EN contract request for proposals and your individual EN contracts. Please understand that as Government contractors you are contractually obligated to abide by these rules and to insure that the employees in your organization with access to confidential beneficiary information understand them as well.
